The Hanse 388 opens up a world of new possibilities for its owner. Its large sail area and optimally designed hull propel it quickly toward its destination, while keeping passengers completely safe wherever they are on board. Its waterline – regardless of the current angle of inclination – is as long as possible, which is also a prerequisite for fast travel. At the same time, with its vertical nose and tail, it maximizes the size of the interior space.
Its minimalist design reflects the boat’s ease of handling: all the ropes have been routed to the helm, so that one person can steer the sailboat. Even when passengers use the CrossOver sail developed by Hanse. The modern “canvas” performs excellently in dropped tacks, increasing the boat’s speed in a real wind range of 65-140 degrees.
